The underwater world continuously inspires me. I am fascinated by the ocean's unique properties, challenges and natural beauty.
After discovering scuba diving and freediving, the natural progression was to bring my camera below the surface.
I continue to explore our underwater worlds through conservation, freediving, portraiture, and fine art.
THOSE WHO CHOSE THE SEA
This short film is deeply personal to Tatiana and I.
This poetic documentary film shares Tatiana's personal struggles and how the ocean saved her in a time of darkness.
The film draws parallels between her story and the story of the Igbo landing. Where a group of African slaves chose drowning over a life of slavery.
The film took 2 months of filming in multiple locations across Egypt. The film was made entirely on breath hold whilst freediving. We faced many challenges: extremely cold water, little protection from the elements, and reaching depths of up to 25m on a single breath.
The film was showcased at a number of film festivals in 2025.
